Business software for Kenya — POS, accounting & inventory in KSh
One platform for your till, books, stock and staff — in KSh, on Kenya's 16% VAT, with +254 phone numbers and your own time zone from the day you sign up.
From $5/user/month (or ₦4,000) · No card · 14-day free trial
Set up for Kenya the moment you sign up.
Kenyan shilling (KSh)
Your workspace runs in KSh — prices, receipts, invoices, printouts, the books and every report, with till cash buttons sized for your notes. No naira anywhere.
16% VAT, set up for you
Kenya's standard 16% VAT is created when you sign up and applied on sales and bills. It's a default you can change — add zero-rated or other rates in Settings → Tax.
+254 phone numbers
Customer and staff numbers are read in your local format (+254 712 345 678) and stored as international numbers, so WhatsApp messages, SMS, pickup codes and share links reach the right phone.
East Africa Time (UTC+3)
“Today” in your reports, reminders, collections and appointments follows your own time zone — set from your browser or country when you sign up.
Mobile money & split payments
Customers pay with cash, M-Pesa, Airtel Money and cards. Mobile Money is a built-in payment method on the till and on invoices, so those takings reconcile separately from cash. (You record the payment — there's no direct link to the wallet provider.)
Cheap Android phones, offline till
Runs on the web, on inexpensive Android phones and handhelds, iOS, and a Windows or Mac desktop till. The desktop till keeps selling with no internet and syncs when the network returns.

IloByte Pro in Kenya — questions, answered
Does IloByte Pro work in Kenya?
Yes. Sign up with Kenya as your country and your workspace starts in Kenyan shilling (KSh), on the 16% standard VAT rate and on East Africa Time (UTC+3). Phone numbers use +254 for WhatsApp and SMS.
How much does IloByte Pro cost in Kenya?
Basic $5, Advanced $8 and Enterprise $18 per user per month. You can pay in US dollars, or in naira (Basic ₦4,000, Advanced ₦5,500, Professional ₦8,000 and Enterprise ₦14,000). Pay yearly and get 2 months free. 14-day free trial, no card required.
Can I record mobile money payments?
Yes. Mobile Money is a built-in payment method on the till and on invoices, alongside cash, card and bank transfer, so M-Pesa and Airtel Money takings are tracked separately from cash. IloByte Pro does not connect directly to the wallet provider — you record the payment as it comes in.
Is 16% VAT fixed?
No. 16% is Kenya's standard rate and is set up for you at signup as a starting default. You can change it or add other rates in Settings → Tax. It's a convenience, not tax advice — confirm your obligations with your accountant.
Does it include Nigerian features like NRS (formerly FIRS) e-invoicing and PAYE?
No — those are for Nigerian businesses only and are not applied in Kenya. IloByte Pro is not connected to the KRA eTIMS system, and local payroll tax tables are not pre-built, so file and pay statutory taxes as you do today.
What language is the app in?
The IloByte Pro app is in English.
Does it work offline and on cheap phones?
It runs on the web, inexpensive Android phones and handhelds, iOS, and a Windows or Mac desktop till. The desktop till keeps ringing sales with no internet and syncs every sale when the network comes back.
